We Are Solidly Behind Fayose - Ekiti PDP

Despite the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti state, some leaders from Erinmope wards 1 and 2 in Moba local government area of the state have pledged their support to the governor of the state, Ayodele Fayose.
The party chieftains also expressed their unalloyed regards to the Chief Idowu Faleye-led executive members of the party.
The spokesperson of the party representatives from Erinmope-Ekiti, Babalola Amira, made this known at the party secretariat in Ado, while presenting an endorsement letter by all members to the state’s chairman.
While summarising the content of the letter, Amira distanced themselves from the move by one of the leaders in the area, Chief Oladipo, who decided on his own to join a parallel faction to work against the progress and unity of the party.
He said that members of the PDP in the two wards of Erinmope Ekiti will continue to support the state’s party executive and the government of Fayose, in its attempts to better the lot of the people of Ekiti.
In his reaction, the party chairman, Chief Idowu Faleye, thanked them for their solidarity and assured them of good governance and his administration’s quest to carry all members along.
Among those at the presentation were the special adviser to the governor, Alhaji Ademola Bello, the state publicity secretary, Jackson Adebayo, the youth leader and others.

Joint Admissions Matriculation- BoardTwitter reacts to new JAMB cutoff marks

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board , JAMB, on Tuesday in Abuja announced that it has pegged the minimum entry requirement into Nigerian universities for the 2015/16 academic year at 180 marks . The body, however, said polytechnics and colleges of education, including innovative enterprise institutions awarding National Diploma are to admit undergraduate students with a minimum of 150 marks .
