Nigerian youngster, Kelechi Iheanacho is set to land his premiership debut for English Club, Manchester City this weekend.
There is a clear indication that the young-lad will feature for the Manuel Pellegrini managed side against West Bromwich Albion.
The Citizens travel to the Hawthorns on Monday, August 10, for their season opener without certainty in their attacking line up.
Iheanacho, who was a member of the Nigeria squad that won the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup, may likely play alongside Raheem Sterling as reports indicates that Stevan Jovetic’s departure and the impending exit of Edin Dzeko to Italian giants, Roma, means City could only rely on two senior strikers; Sergio Aguero and Wilfried Bony.
The Nigerian player had a great pre-season campaign having scored two goals and provided two assists in the five games he featured during the season break.
Iheanacho enjoyed the summer and has gained great partnership with summer-signing Raheem Sterling.
The English Premier League (EPL) 2015/2016 season is set to kick off this weekend and the Citizens will play away to WestBromwich Albion, a team which has Super Eagles strikers, Brown Ideye and Victor Anichebe.
