Nollywood Actor's Wife Opens Up On His Illness

Jennifer Asuzu, wife of popular Nollywood actor Ernest Asuzu has refuted rumours that her husband is mad and begs for money in public.

According to Yes! International magazine, Jennifer said “Will you advise your own sister to marry a mental person or somebody who is mad? That’s the answer to that question. It’s his enemies that are mad, not my husband“.
She accused actress Obot Etuk (Ernest Asuzu’s former lover) of destabilizing his life but added that she believed God has the final say and the power to heal.
She said, “The truth is that talk is cheap, so people can say whatever they like. The truth also is that those who are related to him, they are the ones who know the truth. A lot of stories have been written about him that I don’t even read them anymore…but the truth is that God is on the throne, He knows about everything happening to Ernest, what has happened both physically and spiritually and He is there to set you free“.
Jennifer said she and her husband Ernest are in Warri, to seek spiritual deliverance and healing. She said they were invited by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin of Mercyland Church in Warri, Delta state.
Jennifer and Ernest got married in 2010. The actor suffered a partial stroke last year.

Customs' thugs mistakenly kill innocent trader over 'settlement'

On Friday, July 10,a  28 year old trader Kabiru Mohammed, was said to be dealing in second-hand shoes and was returning from the Seme area in his car at about 5am.was when he was stopped at a checkpoint manned by customs officials around the Federal Government College area in Ijanikin.   It was gathered that after the inspection by the NCS officials, Mohammed was told he could leave. ADVERTISEMENT However, one of the thugs, reportedly working with the NCS officials, was said to have given Mohammed’s vehicle a chase and thrown an object at the car tyres, which made the vehicle swerve and somersault.
