US Government gave Buhari names of oil thieves - Source


According to a report by Punch, the US government handed over the names of Nigerian oil thieves to President Buhari during his last trip to the country. A member of the President’s entourage during the trip told the newspaper;
"I can tell you that the President already has the list of names of the people engaging in the stealing of Nigeria’s oil. The list, when released by the President, will shock Nigerians. But let’s wait and see first,” the source said.
The source insinuated that most of the oil thieves were from President Jonathan's administration. The source claimed that Buhari got two lists from the US, - one listing the names of top government officials who have been stealing the country’s oil, using their high offices to perpetrate the stealing; and the other containing the names of illegal oil bunkerers.
 “The President will probe all of them and make sure they return whatever fortune they had made from their thievery,” the source said.

Joint Admissions Matriculation- BoardTwitter reacts to new JAMB cutoff marks

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board , JAMB, on Tuesday in Abuja announced that it has pegged the minimum entry requirement into Nigerian universities for the 2015/16 academic year at 180 marks . The body, however, said polytechnics and colleges of education, including innovative enterprise institutions awarding National Diploma are to admit undergraduate students with a minimum of 150 marks . The decisions were taken during the 6th combined policy meeting of stakeholders of institutions awarding degrees and certificates.
